The University of Tasmania Ultimate Club, one of the longest-running university clubs in Australia, has been involved with ultimate in Hobart since the early 1990s, and has long been a successful recruiting ground for new players. UTas UC offers new and old players alike a friendly and encouraging environment to learn or play the game.
UTas UC currently runs lunchtime pickup games at the Sandy Bay campus twice a week, participates in at least one Marquee game each semester (including the famous Uni-Workers challenge), and aims to enter teams into Southern University Games, Australian University Games, and local competitions.
The club maintains a blog of its activities at utasultimate.blogspot.com, and has a history of the UTas UC on that site.
To play pickup or join a university team, email the current president (see contacts page), check the events calendar for details of the next pickup game, or join the mailing list by sending a blank email to email@example.com
