Summer League – Finals Night One

The Summer League finals commenced on Monday night at 6:00pm. Whilst the intermediate division games ran without a hitch it wasn’t possible to play the beginner division finals due to the lack of lighting on the fields. We are unsure why the lights didn’t turn on however we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The beginner division finals have been rescheduled to run on Monday April 4th from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Hyperbolic will play off against Rainbow Sheep on the river fieldĀ in the grand final. Not That Organised will line up against Taitn8ers on theĀ mountain field in the 3rd/4th placings.

All players (from both divisions) are encouraged to turn up at next Monday at 6:30pm to watch the finals and take part in the action!

In the intermediate division there were some hard-fought games. The grand final was won by Kink-Out who played a very entertaining game against Zoom. Congratulations also go to Lift who took out the Spirit prize for the league in the intermediate division.

A full league wrap up, including the awards for most-improved players will be available once the beginner division finals have been completed.

Thanks to all the players for their patience whilst we waited for the lights. Once the games were called off there was a very enjoyable BBQ thanks to some keen cooking volunteers – thanks all! Awards were presented where possible and a full rundown will be provided next week once the league has been finalised.
