Media Report

Ultimate (and the TUA) were recently featured in two recent media occurences that we’re happy to let you know about.

We were really lucky to have Peter Newlinds from ABC GrandStand come out to the Tasmanian Two-Hat XIV on the Saturday to watch a game and have a chat to Joe Boyer about the sport. The piece also features comments from Jemery Day and Shavawn Donoghue during the Skied Blue vs Bits match in the round robin. Peter thoroughly enjoyed the sport and is interested in covering more Ultimate events in future. You can listen to the radio piece here (MP3 Audio format, 3.4Mb)

This was followed up the following Monday (15th October, 2012) with an article in The Mercury about the sport, featuring a photo and a description about the game, as well as details about our Learn-To-Play league and the Come-and-try session. Massive thanks to Chris Willis, the TUA’s newest committee member, for working hard behind the scenes to make these media spots happen. Hopefully we’ll see more in the future.
