TUA Annual Awards – Nominations and Voting now open

This is important to everyone in our community.  Whether you’re attending the awards or not; whether you’ve played advanced league for 20 years or beginner league for one; whether you reside in Hobart or Launceston or anywhere else in our fair state; whether you’ve played in every event over the last year or just one. We need everyone to participate in the nomination and voting process to make it truly inclusive.

It won’t take long.  All you need to do is go to the Award Nominations and Voting Form – TUA 2014 at

and spend 5 minutes answering the questions.  You don’t have to answer all of them, just any that take your fancy.

The best bit about it is you don’t have to know who’s who in the Ultimate community.  If you played with someone who you thought was well spirited in the last 12 months, nominate them for Spirit Player of the year.  We want to see new names, new nominations, new votes.

The voting form will be open until Monday 16th June, so feel free to read the nominations and mull over your decisions, but we need it filled out by Monday 16th at the latest.

Also, we’re planning another big event for Saturday 21st June which will hopefully attract lots of players from around the state to Hobart for the weekend.  Stay tuned for news on that.  But it means we’re hoping for a contingent of Launceston players coming down and staying for the dinner to make it truly a statewide representative event.  As a result, we’d especially love to have Launceston players nominated for any of the awards, these are NOT strictly for Hobart based players.
