Women’s ultimate – have your say…

Over the past few months, a few Tasmanian female players based in Launceston and Hobart have been discussing how to support and grow female participation and to encourage skill development across the state.

We have put together two surveys with two different aims:

Survey 1 – Current female players.

We want to find out how interested female Ultimate Frisbee players in Tasmania are in developing their skills and participating in women’s specific activities and games:

Survey 2 – Past female players (including women who are currently not playing for whatever reason).

We want to understand some of the reasons that Tassie women stop playing ultimate and how we could encourage women to stay in the sport. Please forward this email on to women you know that have played ultimate (even if trying it for a few weeks)

By filling in the survey you are assisting with the direction we take for the growth of women’s ultimate in Tasmania. We have some exciting plans but want to make sure we are meeting the needs of current players. If you would to bounce some ideas off someone, feel free to contact Michelle Rogers who would be  happy to meet up over a coffee. Alternatively your participation at the women’s action meetings would be welcome.

Please try to have to survey done by 17th July. Your time is much appreciated and your opinions valued.
