Winter Advanced League Wrap Up

Winter Advanced League finished up recently in cool, but calm conditions. Here’s a wrap up from the league organisers:

Players came from far and wide (aka the Eastern shore and Kingston) for the finals night of Winter Advanced league.

In a hard fought grand final match, Bread had a small lead at time cap however Sharp Studs managed to score and convert on D to win the game.

On the car park field, a similar war was raging. HUUC fought valiantly but were edged out by the Spirit Winners Black Board Special who took home 3rd.

It is inspiring to see such talent emerging from all the teams, particularly the 18/19/20 something year olds, that are now key play makers on the field.

Thanks to Luke Bryan (Assistant LO), TUA – Joe, Peter, Dale, Chris all others for helping here and there – Arthur, Cooke my helpers with cones each week. You are all stars.

So with another league over (with quite mild weather conditions I still believe), put those cleats out to air for now and I hope to see you all next advanced league.

The TUA would like to thank both Eliza and Luke for their contributions as League Organisers.

Make sure you keep your eye’s peeled for the upcoming Spring League registration. In the meantime, why not go and register for Two-Hat?
