Local Information

New to ultimate in Tasmania? You’ve come to the right place. There is nearly always ultimate happening somewhere in Hobart. We have regular leagues, casual pickup games and two annual tournaments, all of which welcome players of any level. Pickup games have also begun in Launceston. Read on for more information!

Spring and Summer Leagues are held at Sandown Park in Lower Sandy Bay. These leagues have two divisions: beginner and intermediate. Before each league starts, we hold a free “Come & Try” session. If you are interested in trying out ultimate, this is a great way to learn the basics of throwing a disc and get a feel for the game.

Autumn and Winter Leagues are held indoors at Aurora Sports Stadium (New Town). Similar to the outdoor leagues, the indoor leagues also have beginner and intermediate divisions.

New! In Autumn 2011 we are introducing a new advanced outdoor league. We hope this will run concurrently with indoor and outdoor leagues throughout the year. Stay tuned for more information.
