The second instalment of North vs South games will be held on the 21st of June in Hobart and you’re invited! The observant amongst you may have noticed that this is the same day as the Annual Dinner, meaning you can lock in this Saturday as possibly the most ultimate of frisbee days in 2014!
The UTas football oval at the Sandy Bay campus will host the games, and players from all over the state, no matter your experience are invited to attend and participate in all the day has to offer.
The day will kick off at 10am with a development session run by Australian U19 coach, Steve Wright, followed by a couple of “hat” style games where players can mix it up with fellow enthusiasts from around the state.
The day’s North vs South show-piece will be held in the afternoon (at approximately 3pm) whereby newly formed friendships will be asked to sit quietly on the sideline whilst bragging rights are determined for the Tasmanian Ultimate Association Annual Dinner later that evening.
Whilst lunch will be provided, players are asked to bring an obviously light shirt and an obviously dark shirt, their cleats, warm clothes and appropriate snacks to get them through 3 games of Ultimate.
We look forward to seeing you there, and at the dinner dinner afterwards for a well-earned feed!
